In 2020, Ave Maria and Lennar announced the development of The National at Ave Maria, a new community designed around an 18-hole Gordon Lewis championship golf course, along with pickleball and tennis courts.
From the beginning, The National was planned to offer a variety of housing options, including Terraces, Verandas, Executive Homes, Estate Homes, and Coach Homes, giving residents many different ways to be part of this growing community.
Mayor Jared and his family purchased a coach home in 2022.
“I can still remember the first day we came and looked,” Jared shares. “We moved in October of 2022, and later we bought our home. Eventually, my brother and sister-in-law moved into our coach home, making The National even more special for our family.”
In May 2024, the resort pool and The Hammock opened, creating an exciting new gathering place for residents. It was a big day for the community and a glimpse of what The National was becoming.
Fast forward to March 2025, when The Champion’s Table opened, bringing a more formal dining experience to the community.
All of those moments have led to today’s major milestone: the turnover.
As The National at Ave Maria enters this new chapter, we look forward to seeing the community continue to grow, thrive, and become an even stronger place for neighbors, families, and friends.
